HASS TEACHING MASTERCLASS
The HASSFutures Masterclass Webinar series is designed for HASS academics to share innovative teaching and learning practices, discover practical solutions to HASS teaching and learning challenges and to refresh HASS curriculum design. The webinars provide an avenue for HASS teachers to engage in the HASSfutures network, and to make connections across disciplines and experiences. HASSFutures Masterclass webinars will be scheduled reach month from July 2017 to December 2018. Masterclass leaders will be sourced from Australia and internationally.
What is a HASS Teaching Masterclass Webinar?Masterclasses are webinar workshiops which run for 1 hour. Expected sessions include a 40 minute presentation plus 15 minutes discussion. Discussion and interaction between participants and presenters are actively encouraged.

How to ParticipateWebinars will be held using a virtual classroom system which allows voice, video and text (chat) interaction between the presenter and webinar participants. Each session will be made available after the event as an archive and YouTube video. Search the news and calendar pages for details and subscribe to the newsletter mailing list to stay in contact. Announcements will also be made via social media.
There is no charge to register as a participant. Presenters do not receive speaker fees. |
How to volunteer to lead a Master Class
Proposals for presenting a masterclass are invited from HASS teachers to lead a HASSFutures Masterclass. Complete the EOI form to submit a proposal for a Masterclass webinar.

Once masterclasses have been held, you will be able to access videos and archives of past sessions in a number of formats.
